Completed Course Work
This page explores some of the assignments I have completed so far in my Education degree. These assignments provided me the opportunity to explore the history of education and a variety of teaching methods and concepts. They demonstrate components of my teaching philosophy, and why I choose to teach.

History of Education - Reggio Emilia

This was a research project which explored the Reggio Emilia approach to education. We create a poster board which embodied many key parts of the approach. I personally connected with this project because I agree with a lot of the Reggio Emilia principles and would like to incorporate them into my own classroom one day.
Language and Literacy, Art - Outdoor Literacy
​
This project, critically examined outdoor literacy and explores the positive and negative components of different outdoor environments and which environments provide a variety of learning experiences for children. This project included a poster board, a brochure, and a diorama of an ideal place space which would cultivate a positive learning experience for children.
